Dr. Sharad Kumar, Professor of Business & Commerce

Dr. Sharad Kumar is M.Com, D. Phil (Alld. Univ.). His area of interest is Commerce Education, Extension Education & Education Management. He has more than 28 years experience. Dr. R. Muthuraj, Sr. Lecturer (Finance)

Dr. R. Muthuraj, Sr. Lecturer, Business & Commerce Division, PSSCIVE, Graduated & Post Graduated from M-K University, Tamil Nadu and secured M.Phil degree and Ph.D. from Central University Pondicherry. He taught for about 16 years at Govt. Colleges in UT of Lakshadweep affiliated to Calicut University, Kerala. He has been counselor for the various Degree & PG programmes of IGNOU, Central University at Pondicherry, Annamalai and Alagappa University at Tamilnadu, Bhoj University, Bhopal. Since 1997 he is doing Research, Development of Curricula and Instructional Materials, and Training activities in the area of Vocationalization of education and organized various programmes and seminar in the Regional and National level. He has authored five books on material management/ Purchasing and Store Keeping published by NCERT. He has been Board Member of Ph.D. evaluation Committees of Alagappa University, Annamalai University and other universities. He is presently serving in Central Institute of Vocational Education having overall 23 years of teaching, research, development and training experiences. <Top>

Dr. P. Veeraiah, Sr. Lecturer (Distributive Education)

Dr. P. Veeraiah, born in 1967. He is working as Sr. Lecturer in Distributive Education, Business & Commerce Division, PSS Central Institute of Vocational Education (NCERT), Bhopal. He obtained his M.Com from Kakatiya University, Warangal in 1993. He qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) in November 1994. He completed his M.Phil and PhD from Kakatiya University, Warangal in 1996 and 2002 respectively specializing in Agricultural Marketing. He also completed his M.B.A. from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University, Hyderabad in 2000 specializing in Financial Management. He has 5 years of experience in teaching various subjects in the area of Commerce and Business Management and 4 years of experience in Vocational Education Programme.

The present working area involves the development of Competency based Vocational & Pre-Vocational Courses, Instructional Material, Vocational Modules, organizing Training and Orientation programmes and conducting Educational Research at PSSCIVE, Bhopal. His professional interests include Research, Development, Training and Extension in the area of commerce related to vocational education. He has presented about five papers in the area of Commerce, Management and Social Sciences in the National Conferences and Seminars.

At PSSCIVE, he has developed the curricula and instructional materials in the area of Rural Marketing and Export Import Practices and Documentation. He has organized three orientation programmes for the key functionaries of States & UT’s of India and conducted short-term teacher training programme for the teachers of Vocational course in Marketing & Salesmanship for the sates of Maharashtra and Kerala. <Top>
