Mr. Saurabh Prakash, Reader (Rural Technology) and In-charge Head

Mr. Saurabh Prakash, born in 15.10.1960 obtained M.Tech. from IIT Kharagpur. Prior to joining to NCERT, he served as Scientist at Central Institute of Agricultural Engineering, Bhopal for 8 years. He joined the Pandit Sunderlal Sharma Central Institute of Vocational Education on 2nd July 1994 as Reader in Rural Technology in Engineering & Technology Division. He has undertaken multifarious activities i.e., Research in the area of Vocational Education; Preparation of Guidelines on Work Education; Development of Curriculum and Instructional Material; Organization of Training of key resource persons/ teachers; Contributed activity units in textbooks and practical manuals for vocational students at +2 level and pre vocational students. He was a member of the editorial board of Indian Journal of Vocational Education, Bhopal. He has thirty-one Research papers / articles; Four Text/ Reference books; One Research monogram; to his credit and coordinated development of Fourteen instructional material meetings.
He has also made academic contribution in working group meetings organized by National Institute of Open Schooling, New Delhi, Technical Teachers Training Institute, Western Region, Bhopal and Central Institute of Agricultural Engineering, Bhopal. He is a life member of Professional society viz., The Indian Society of Agricultural Engineering, Association of Food Scientists and Technologist (India) and The Indian Society of Vocational Education. <Top>

Mr Deepak Shudhalwar, Sr. Lecturer (Computer Sc./Engg.)

Mr. Deepak Shudhalwar, born in 1971, obtained his Master's degree in Computer Science in 1993 from Dnyanopasak College, Parbhani of Aurangabad University, Maharastra. He worked as Programmer cum Faculty in Kamla Nehru Mahavidyalaya, Nagpur for two years before joining as a Lecturer (Computer Sc/Engg) in PSSCIVE, NCERT, Bhopal in May 1997. He is having about 10 years of experience in the field of Computer Science which includes the past two years in programming & teaching at PG level and eight years of Research, Development and Training in vocational education in his subject of Computer Science. The present working area involves the competency based vocational and prevocational courses, instructional material, generic vocational course, training and orientation programmes, educational research and certain others. He has authored the paper in National seminar. He has also worked as an Examiner for the University examination at PG level. His expertise is in Programming languages, RDBMS - Oracle, Visual Basic and Web development tools. <Top>
